My Family is Blogging!

Sunday started off with my daughter (Kate) asking me "whatcha' doin today?  Going to Omi's (that means grandmother in German) was my answer.  So go get ready, you know how it takes us an hour to get ready. What else do you expect with a teen and middle aged women in the bathroom together?  We made it out the door in record time, well record time for us.  It was a beautiful day out, almost thought it was a pool day, but we forged ahead to have a visit with Omi.

We had a really nice time.  My mom showed us her new Versa and ask how to use some features, caught up on happenings during the week over lunch, Kate had a Philly Cheese Steak, my mom ate Fish & Chips while I ate Eggs Benedict, and THEN I asked my mom if she would like me to show her how to start a blog.  She was like, YEA!  I wanted to jump up and down - I love blogging, but contained my feelings and walked into the computer room with composure and helped walk her through setting up a simple blog.  Please give a warm welcome to "Omi Times 4".  As we were wracking our brains to come up with THE perfect title - how long did it take you to come up with yours, my daughter blurts out, "I WANT A BLOG, I have the perfect theme", My Four Years of Highschool.  Now I was just about coming out of my skin - MY DAUGHTER, wants to BLOG?  WooHoo!  I was just happy my mom wanted to blog, now I have her AND my daughter. I am happier than a pig in shit poop.  So please welcome "My Highschool Life".  Now I just need to work on DH.

Now go show them some L.O.V.E!!

I love your 3 generation photo, btw. You all look beautiful! We just took a 4 generation photo recently and ours didn't turn out as well as yours but it special nonetheless.

I bet you are one proud woman right now...getting your family to blog with you. I don't think I'll ever get my hubby to blog and my son is still too young to do it. He is only 9 afterall. :)

Just visited your daughters blog. LOVE IT! I left her some comments and am now following her blog. I think she has a great sense of humor and I can't wait to read more of her four years in high school.

Now I just got done visiting Omi's blog. I think it's great that you have gotten her started. Can't wait to read more of hers too.

Forgot to say that it sounds like you had a great visit together. Being able to visit with family is such a blessing. We live 8 hours away from ours so it's so nice to see others that get to see theirs too.

The picture of the three of you is just beautiful! To see three generations together and all looking so happy makes my heart warm.

Leaving a comment here about your above post about your new comment widget (I guess that's what it is). :)

First...at least for me I'm having a hard time with it working. Sometimes when I leave try to leave a comment it comes up with an error code where I should start typing a comment. Sometimes it recognizes me and sometimes it doesn't. If I was a first time visitor to your blog that would make me think twice about leaving comments much less coming back.

Second...I love to leave comments and I want to do it easily without having to jump through hoops. I don't like typing in word verifications at all...so thank you for not having that. But what makes it the easiest to leave comments is a pop-up window. That was it pops up, I leave my comment, and then I close that window and I can keep browsing the blog. Doing it the way you have it set up I leave the comment but then I have to reload your blog so that I can get back to reading it.

I think that's it. I know there was something else but it's escaping my mind right now. I'll go do a bit more laundry and it will come back to me and when it does I'll come right back here.

Thanks for letting me leave you an honest comment. :)

I still can't remember what else I was going to say but I did think of something that I should have said first off...

No matter what type of comment "system" you use here I'll still leave you comments on your blog.

Even after the comment contest stops.

I just wish I could get as many comments. :)

Stopped by your daughter and Omi's blogs today...loving them! I so enjoy catching a blog from the very beginning and watching it grow. It's like watching a baby. :)

Without listening to lung sounds, It's hard to be definitive. A cough is usually just post nasal drip irritation or some throat issue rather than an actual bronchial infection. Is the cough productive? What color is the sputum if it is?
