Aloha Friday #6

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that Hawaiians take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just answer my Aloha Friday question in the comments section and post your own question on your blog. Head to An Island Life and leave your link there. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

MY QUESTION:
Is there anything you buy a lot of even if you don't need it?

MY ANSWER:
I buy PENS, I love PENS - I don't need them, but I enjoy trying them all.

At back to school time I tend to buy a lot of extra school supplies. As a teacher I know they will not be nearly cheap.

Not me, but my husband is that way about chapstick. Whenever he sees a new one he thinks he'd like he HAS to buy it immediately.

It's funny you asked this because I just finished putting away a ton of groceries. Apparently, I buy chocolate chips even if I don't need them. Cookies, anyone?

I would have to say plastic forks. Yes, I know very weird. I buy them and I never use them.

For some reason I notice that every time I go to the store I like to buy powerdered sugar. The odd thing is that this is not something I even use a lot of. Especially over the holidays, I have to have powdered sugar.

I buy a lot of clothes and toys for my son. He has a lot of toys but little space. I was able to donate a box of toys recently.

SHOES! And shopping lists - the kind with the magnet on the back for the fridge. I hate shopping! I make hubby do it! But I love the lists.
